I regularly create newsletters, social media posts and web articles designed to catch the audience's attention.

Alexander, IT Projektmanager, introduces himself
My name is Alexander Mussner. Since 2019, I have been working at Duka in the field of IT project management, data analysis, and data management.
What does your workday look like?
My workday is very varied and always different. In IT project management, I am responsible for the ERP system, which is essential in Duka for the smooth running of various operational processes. Together with our external software partners, I ensure that new requirements are implemented across all company processes (production, order management, customer service). In this role, I work with the different departments to analyze their needs, support our external software partners during the implementation phase, and oversee the rollout process. In the area of data management and data analysis, I focus on collecting, evaluating, and providing data from various systems and machines in the company. One particularly interesting aspect is the visual preparation of data in the BI system, which allows decision-makers to make informed choices.
Why do you take on this job?
In my master's thesis during my studies in Business Informatics, I focused on data analysis. At Duka, I found the opportunity to turn this passion into a profession. In my diverse role, I gain deep insights into all areas of the company and contribute to the optimization of operational processes, which motivates me every day. This challenging job brings me into contact with many different people and allows me to develop my skills continuously.
Stefan from Quality Assurance introduces himself
My name is Stefan Senn, I am 31 years old and I work in the quality assurance and laboratory department at Duka. Among other things, I am responsible for the various material and functional tests in the course of development and for current products.
What does your day-to-day work look like?
It is definitely very versatile. It consists of a mixture of standardised and repeatable tests and new and different challenges that I am confronted with every day. So, in detail, hardly any day goes by like any other. What they all have in common, however, is that I am manage to demonstrate my interdisciplinary thinking and problem-solving skills.
Why do you take on this job?
One important reason is certainly that it's not a classic office job in which I sit in front of a computer all day, but rather a good mix of practical and technical work in combination with work in front of a screen. I enjoy solving practical riddles. I am also a very curious person, which is why I always get right up to the heart of the matter. I can use these qualities regularly in my day-to-day work and thus add real value.
Angelika, head of the UV adhesive department, introduces herself
My name is Angelika Gruber and I have been working in production for 32 years, where I am the head of the department.
What does your day-to-day work look like?
The job is very extensive and challenging. It starts with preparing the orders, planning the day and organising the employees, because every day goes different depending on the customer's wishes. There are also several robots and automated systems in use in our department. These need to be monitored and any faults must be rectified. Other tasks include monitoring and optimising work processes and ordering the required materials. I also spend a lot of time at the computer, because UV adhesive technique is technically very demanding. Adhesives and lamps have to be checked and tested regularly and everything has to be fully documented. This is all just part of my job, so it never gets boring.
Why do you take on this job?
As a woman, I got the opportunity to take over the UV adhesive department early on. The company management is very future-orientated and invests a lot in technology and innovation. This gives me the opportunity to learn a lot.
Elia, Technical Drawer, introduces himself
My name is Elia Orlandi, I have been working at Duka for 8 years and I am a technical drawer in the ‘tailor-made’ department.
What is your working day generally like?
I spend my working day designing the technical drawings of the shower enclosures for the production and for the fabrication of the oversized glasses. I have to check the measurements of the external technicians and together with the other departments, which have already created an offer, discuss the best possible solution for the customer. In addition to that, I support for the after-sales and sales departments in a post-production phase.
Why did you decide to do this job?
I have always liked the technical aspect and the design of objects. Therefore, the department satisfies me from a working point of view. Every day different situations come up and different solutions have to be found. Each order concerns a specific customer with a specific bathroom that need the best solution, both technically and aesthetically.
Gerhard, Head of Development, introduces himself
My name is Gerhard Erlacher and I have been at Duka since 2017. As Head of Development, I am responsible for the process, time estimation and coordination of all new developments.
What does your day-to-day work look like?
We analyse the requirements of the market almost every day. New technical solutions are developed in close co-operation with production management, purchasing and product management. These are then passed on to the employees/designers, who build the final 3D models and create prototypes and drawings. My daily routine includes constant consultations on the current status of projects, meetings with various internal departments and external suppliers.
Why do you take on this job?
This job offers me the opportunity to develop new products and techniques in a creative way and to rethink and technically improve existing models. All this in a very pleasant working environment and a great team.
